Sea level rise to trigger human migration, reshape inland cities – UPI

Article Synopsis – Sea level rise is not just an issue that those in coastal areas should be concerned about. Many inland cities are likely to also be significantly impacted by migration as people flee rising sea levels. Researchers estimate as many as 13.1 million people will be displaced by sea level rise in the coming decades. Population growth presents a variety of challenges, from traffic congestion to water supply, which are already major issues in many cities.
